Waimea carnival showcases Westside community
Waimea carnival showcases Westside community This was from The Garden Island website. The Waimea High School Carnival. Economically speaking they made a total of $12,600 dollars for 2 days and $7,000 dollars going to the athletic department. All I can say is they had a lot of food and the event was theres', for food and for the community. It doesn't look as if a big pay check were being distributed to the athletic department head, Jon Kobayashi at the high school. I don't think they gave credit to Ross Kagawa also who became an elected official County councilmen just this year starting 2013. I'm not sure how much credit or if anything is going down their way. But the high school still looks together, after all of the years, even if Ross Kagawa and the county were never involved.

StarAdvertiser and Ben Jay new AD
Whatever you heard about this man, it couldn't be different from all the other comments you've already heard in the news. He took over the AD department at UH and it was pointed out that his salary is about $200,000 dollars per year. Norm Chow's salary said to come in at $500,000 with incentives if he wins and gets to a bowl appearance. How can one man take over a show, when the salary cap for athletics is somewhat misleading. For example, they mentioned graduation requirements in many of their articles. But statistics show, the scores coming out of High School for these athletes also for some, fall way short of necessary standards set by the state. It was mentioned how do you suppose these athletes/students get by with such repretoire? Simple, they don't cut corners. So what's the main story here? Come and find out what Norm Chow is saying about his players and members of the community are doing? [ your point ]
What's up with that?
What is up with that? I hear that come end of this year, maybe even next year, you and so and so could make all American stat and be on Hawaii News Now as Norm Chow is? Tell us a little more about yourself and when did you decide to be like Norm Chow. [briefly]
