Why they celebrate King Kamehameha I and have a parade?

Dear letters,

Under the old Hawaiian Kingdom, which was brought on by the Great King Kamehameha, sometime about 1758 and along with new immigrants to Hawaii, the Polynesians from the Polynesian Islands.  There were 5 Kings under this Monarchy, 1 to 5 and all named after the same name.  The last remaining King, which was a ditch to the new found lands brought on by the Europeans, the last queen was Lilioukalani to take over the thrown in 1893, before annexation.  She lasted 2 weeks, then the U.S. Military declared a marshal law for all civilians on O'ahu to be subjected unto one rule, a territory of U.S.A. and a new governing body was formulated.

Under this old Kingdom they had human sacrifices.  The term Imu was used for an underground oven.  A heiau also was the term they used for a place of burial, but it was used also for human sacrifice during the Hawaiian Kingdom.  Missionaries from Europe taught the Hawaiians a new language so that they could communicate to the Hawaiians about God and bring them up to date on what they were actually doing.  Missionaries added a new language for the Hawaiians, so they could communicate and add a new meaning to their language, God.  They were fightings and wars under the Monarchy, a very much barbaric warlike style of living and the civilians adjusted their ways to more warlike living under this monarchy.  This was seen for all islands.  They traveled by Canoe, and used compass to find their way around.  This was from the European explorations and they were the ones who taught them, the Hawaiians how to navigate.  A little about Hawai'i and its navigators on the open sea.

As you know in 1898, Hawaii became a territory of United States Of America and in March 18, 1959, president Dwight Eisenhower signs a bill to declare Hawai'i as the 50th state into the Union.    This is the whole history behind Hawai'i and the United States Of America.  Now we know why people, to this day, celebrate Hawai'i's history.  It is still Hawai'i, but with more modern technology and better to living conditions for everyone.

best regards,

Miami Heat Cheerleader 2013

This is one point I make.  Why would anyone want to look at Bernard Carvalho or Ross Kagawa on Kaua'i, just to read about their election there?  I don't think they made a difference in anyone's life and I don't think they beat out anyone in anything.  Looking at these pictures is enough.  Why add these two on Kaua'i?

If you'd rather look at the Cheerleaders, you're there too. You don't need the politicians, as they say they are on Kaua'i.

     Think about this thought!

Alex Rodriquez, NY Yankees 3rd basemen has dual residence, MSN

Injured Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez already rakes in more dough than any player in baseball, earning $30 million a year for playing — or, this year, not playing — like a shell of his former self. And as it turns out, A-Rod also has a pretty good real estate racket going, too.
According to TMZ, the 37-year-old Rodriguez, who has been on the disabled list all season following January hip surgery, recently sold his nearly-20,000 square foot Miami mansion for a whopping $30 million, netting himself a profit of $15 million.
Rodriguez reportedly purchased the sprawling estate for $7.4 million in 2010. Then after putting in $7.6 million into renovating it, Rodriguez listed the nine-bedroom, 11-bath palace for $38 million in August. (It’s a shame he had to settle for such a lowball offer.)
Here are a few photos, via TMZ, of what you could have gotten for the equivalent of one year of A-Rod’s salary:

It's currently not known who the buyer is — TMZ says it's a celebrity from Palm Beach — but according to the New York Daily News, Rodriguez had been renting the home for more than $125,000 a month before settling on the $30 million purchase offer.\

It appears he is paying taxes on 2 states and injured. He must be a valuable asset to NY Yankees for them to be paying his house on two estates.

History of Sheraton Waikiki Hotel

Osano Empire

Sheraton Waikiki (from Waikiki beach)
In 1974, Japanese brothers Kenji Osano and Masakuni Osano bought the Hawaiian holdings of the Sheraton Corporation, including the 3 year-old Sheraton Waikiki Hotel. The Osano brothers formed Kyo-Ya Company Limited, a subsidiary of Kokusai Kogyo Company Limited as the corporate entity charged with overseeing the hotel properties. The purchases put the Osano brothers on the Forbes List of World's Richest People in 1999. After the death of the Osano brothers, Takamasa Osano inherited the billions of dollars owned in properties. The Sheraton Waikīkī Hotel is used as the corporate office of the Osano Empire. In 2004 Takamasa Osano sold 65% of Kokusai Kogyo to Cerberus Partners LP to cover $4 billion in defaulted loans. He still controls 35% of the company.

It was renovated in 1982 after the Hurricane hit part of O'ahu.  It was Hurricane Ewa.  And again in 1992 Hurricane Iniki hit parts of the island also.  Tokyo, Japan is home to many visitors visiting Waikiki.  Travel companies as Nippon Express, Kyoka Company, Kintetsu, Jal Pak, are all tour travel agency bringing the tourist from Japan to Hawai'i ever since the 1960s when TV made it well known with those Elvis Pressley commercials and Wayne Newton also was with the commercials then.  Since 1959, Japan has brought about 7,000,000 million people to Hawai'i.

Today the hotel is run by general manager Kelly Sanders and which also oversees the Kai's restaurant that was newly opened there several years ago.  Waikiki was a destination spot in the 1960s, but with Moana Surfrider as the first build hotel in 1962 at the same location it is today.  In 1964 Hawaii had a relatively smaller population, just about 500,000 people residing in Hawai'i.  O'ahu had about 300,000 residents.   In 2011 Hawai'i had 1,374,810 people living on the islands.  Hawai'i became a state in 1959, March 18, Dwight Eisenhower signs Hawai'i as a union into the United States Of America.

Better Than You

There are several fine dining restaurants in Waikiki that claim the best cuisine or food.  One is Shogun in the second floor of the Pacific Beach Hotel. The other is The House Of Steak, Teppanyaki and there is one other called Hy's SteakHouse and Kobe's SteakHouse over on Ala Moana Blvd. They have 5-10 Japanese waiters and male serving up the dinners for paying customers and the delicate cuisines for the customers able and willing to sit and be served by these specialized waiters around Waikiki. The waiters take 1 hour and a half to serve a couple with a reservations at 6:00 pm. and finishes at 7:30 p.m. and the next reservations is right after, whenever the busgirl can set up the tables again.  This is for one table.  He serves two tables at the most per night and 4-5 paying tables for the whole night.  This is the whole atmosphere to your dining experience at one of these restaurants. If you were to look at the tables, the basic set up of 2 forks and a butter knife, meat knife, a spoon and a glass of water and napkin towel shaped like an eagle is in front of you. The smaller fork is for the pupus or appetizer before the salads. The other fork is for the salad and the dinner. The spoon is for the coffee or tea.  And they have a butter knife for the bread and also meat knife for your steak.  This is on a table with a cloth and you eat on it, if you didn't know it, know it now.
The menu itself is made up mostly of Steaks and seafood.  Before getting more specifically on what they serve, let me first point out the general idea of their steaks.  It is the best prime steaks you can have, and if you really want it, you can order it through the Internet or Costco stores or Times or Safeway, and it is called prime cut or NY steak cut, meaning the best around.  You can now get it at your local stores if you didn't know this, congratulations, you can have one too.  On with their menu. ...continue

The price range is from $21.95 to $68.95 for the sashimi and steak dinners at these restaurants and they do require for you to leave 18% tip and tax is not included when you get the bill.  The average 2 couple tab is $100 + 18% tip which is $118.00 for only 2 on the tab and for the whole night experience there at the restaurant.  This would be the average bill to pay.
